Many specialists conduct business on an appointments only basis. The following information describes how we conduct business at the Animal Eye Clinic in Camarillo, California, USA.
If a new client is more than approximately 10 minutes late, we will normally require that the appointment be rescheduled. If an existing client is more than 10-15 minutes late, the same policy applies.
We tell new clients to show up at the clinic at a time that permits them an adequate amount of time to provide us with the new client and patient information. They are advised that they must arrive at the scheduled time and that they will be admitted to the exam room after we have the sign-in information entered into the computer.
We attempt to obtain basic new client information in advance of the first visit so that we may create a "preliminary record" of the client and the patient.
